My status is “pending verification”. What does that mean?

Your registration has been submitted and is waiting for review by SCOMEL. While pending, some features like voting and candidate application are limited.

Where can I see my verification status?

Go to your Pending Verification page from the dashboard, or look at the status badge at the top of your user dashboard.

How long does verification take?

Verification timelines may vary by election period. If your status has been pending for an unusually long time, please contact SCOMEL using the details on this page.

How do I vote?

From your Dashboard, use the Vote Now buttons under active elections, or open the Elections page and choose an active election.

I can’t vote in an election I see.

Check that your account is verified and that the election is currently in its voting period. If you still can’t vote, contact SCOMEL with your student ID and election name.

Can I change my vote after submitting?

No. Once a ballot is submitted, it is final. Please review your choices carefully before confirming.

How do I file a formal complaint?

Use the File Complaint page in your dashboard to submit election-related complaints in line with the USASG Election Code.

What if I encounter a technical problem?

Take a screenshot or note the exact error message and time it occurred, then contact SCOMEL using the email below. Include your student ID and the page where the issue happened.
